What to Expect
Taber Pet Clinic is a full service veterinary clinic, where we will be able to provide services such as wellness exams, vaccinations, bloodwork, radiology, surgery, and dentistry. For more information please take a look at Our Services (Our Services link).
At each visit we will have a form containing your contact information, your pet’s information, and the reason for the visit. This allows us to make sure we have accurate information and to send out reminders such as when vaccines are due or if you have an upcoming appointment.
Please bring any medical history that you have of your pet. If you have previous vaccine records we will be able to better assess which vaccines your pet is due for and we can update our system with any future due dates. If your visit with us is related to your pet’s ongoing or recurring problem and you have been to another veterinary clinic, please contact that clinic before your appointment and they can provide us with your pet’s medical history. Our veterinary staff can then better understand what was seen in the past and what response your pet has had to treatments.
We ask that all dogs are kept on a leash when they come into the clinic for their own safety and others. If you do not have a leash with you, please let one of our staff members know and they will be able to provide you with one. For the safety of cats, please have them in a carrier or on a harness and leash.
